A leader of the All Progressives Congress (APC) in Niger, Alhaji Nma Kolo, praised the political processes that produced Senator Bola Tinubu as the party’s presidential candidate.
He made the eulogy in an interview with the News Agency of Nigeria (NAN) in Minna on Monday.
According to him, Tinubu has the experience and proven track record of determination, vision and intelligence to take the country forward if elected.
“Tinubu has the ability to lead Nigeria which requires a new direction in order to compete in the global economic and political system.
“He has done it in Lagos as governor for two terms and he is ready to do it again if he receives the mandate in 2023.
“He has a better chance because, over the years, he has not only been known as a politician, but has also become an embedded brand in the minds of Nigerians,” he said.
Kolo said Nigeria would need an experienced politician with a proven track record and vision to guide it towards a better future.
He explained that Tinubu’s experience would promote the interests of the country to reflect the desires of the citizens.
“Tinubu dreams of a true Nigeria that provides its citizens with opportunities in life, security and the ability to determine and realize their dreams,” he said.
Kolo also described Tinubu as a unifying force that Nigerians should give a chance to rule, noting that Nigerians from all areas and ethnic groups respected and believed in him.
He explained that Tinubu “is bold and courageous in the implementation of policies and programs for the development of the country.”
