According to Tejumola, with The Hidden, the broadcast company aims to further strengthen its position as a pioneer in the African entertainment industry.
She said the series will premiere exclusively on Africa Magic Showcase and will bring captivating storytelling and exceptional performances to television screens in Africa.
The Hidden is a fictional thriller-drama with events and emotions expressed with characters in conflict at pivotal moments in their lives.
It sets out to explore a rigged society where the strong prey on the weak, where culture and tradition become weapons of oppression and motives twist and turn as they please.
The show follows the life of a woman who has seen it all, a shadow of herself, been through the furnace, lost loved ones to the brutal dividends of a once-prosperous career.
She seeks redemption by being the refuge for others who seek refuge even when her calm and near-perfect demeanor hides her thirst for revenge.
Tejumola said that with the role of Ireti Doyle in The Hidden, fans should expect a fantastic performance of a measured, calm and deliberate character.
“She is empathetic, with healthy boundaries. She recognizes the injuries on her residents and tries to help them heal. She has fought most of her demons and won.
“She accepts that while she can’t alter the past, she can help shape the future. If not for her, then for someone else.”

“Franklin’s previous works have showcased his remarkable talent, making him a sought-after actor in the industry.
“In The Hidden, you will be up against the character of Flo (Ireti Doyle), the oldest associate and the most trusted partner.
“He knows her intimately and has seen her at some of her weakest moments. He sees Flo ‘Ireti Doyle’ as a mother figure to her, and he is always supportive of her, but at the same time there is no denying that there is something sensual between them.
