ATLANTA — It’s a busy weekend in Atlanta. Not only is it New Years, but the Peach Bowl is in town, too.
UGA and Ohio State fans are in town for the Chick Fil A Peach Bowl, at Mercedes Benz Stadium. You can feel the energy and see the excitement.
Georgia and Ohio State fans are ready for the big game.
“We are very excited to be here, we came all the way from Arkansas,” said UGA alumna Shari Rafferty.

“We’re ready,” said OSU fan Chuck Ketchell.
On Friday, fans from all over the country invaded downtown Atlanta. Many gathered inside the Georgia Aquarium for the pre-game celebration.
The UGA fans, the Ohio State fans, they all wanted to be in town, to cheer on their team to a W.
Sports pundits said Georgia is the favorite to win, but Ohio State fans aren’t backing down.
“We’ll just work a little harder,” said OSU Fan Dena Bogen.
A couple is divided.
Shari Rafferty is a UGA alumnus and former cheerleader, but her husband graduated from Ohio State University…talks about opposites attraction.
“I am originally from Georgia. My husband is from Pennsylvania, but he went to the state of Ohio. We are in a divided house,” said Shari Rafferty.

But who will emerge victorious? “(Do you think everyone is going to win?) Oh yeah, there’s no question about it. (What’s the score?) 42-27,” Chuck Ketchell said.
“I think we are definitely going to win. I’m going to give a spread of 7-14 points. The Dawgs will definitely be undefeated,” Rafferty said.
