Taste of Asia on the north side of San Antonio under new management

Date:

A popular North Side restaurant now has new owners, according to a Facebook post.

After 22 years, the former owners said in the social post that they decided it was time to move on.

“Our new partners are helping us run the restaurant and it’s time we took it easy,” the owners wrote on Facebook. “Thank you for all the many amazing years together!”

The owners assured customers that the establishment, located at 300 W. Bitters Road #120, will not close. In separate posts, current and former management emphasize that the recipes and staff will remain the same. However, there will be new options.

“We’re also trying to do some new specials,” wrote the new manager, who introduced himself as Wyatt on Facebook. “Please let us know how we are doing and what we need to improve.”

Wyatt also wrote that the former owners have treated the new management kindly, “like family.”

“Nothing needs to be changed. All the recipes are delicious and the staff is wonderful,” commented Facebook user Adrián Cisneros.

One concern for some customers is Taste of Asia’s pho, which is made with a salty broth instead of a sweet one. The restaurant reassured customers that the recipes would not change.

“Consider offering delivery through Uber Eats. Or really any delivery service. I moved across town and want to eat here often but it’s hard to get to as much as I’d like,” wrote another user, Crystal Orr. .

The restaurant responded by saying that it plans to add delivery services in the future.
