Toyin Abraham advises Chairman Tinubu to avoid the mistakes of his predecessors

In her letter, the filmmaker expressed her euphoria because Tinubu he has finally realized his old aspiration to become president of Nigeria.

Amid the criticism and backlash she received for her unconditional support, Toyin called on the president to address the anger of the young population and win back their trust.

He stressed that supporting his candidacy was a personal choice, and while it drew insults and threats to his life and businessthe actress remains committed to supporting his leadership based on her first-hand experience of his rule in Lagos and her track record as a public servant.

Your letter addressed to “President Bola Ahmed Tinubu, GCFR,” it states, “Let me begin this letter by offering you my warmest congratulations on your confirmation as President of the Federal Republic of Nigeria.

It is the greatest honor any Nigerian can receive to be mandated by the people and asked to lead Nigeria. The road to the presidency has taken several years and a lot of hard work on his part, and for his efforts to be crowned with success is Allah’s way of rewarding all his good deeds and dua deprived of him.

People have asked me why I openly supported your candidacy when others opposed you. I have received insults and threats against my life and my business because of my personal choice, which I have never imposed on anyone else. I will continue to support you because I have experienced your leadership in Lagos and your achievements as a public servant. I have also admired your ability to adapt to the times and how you have supported the dreams and ideas of so many young people. That being said, I will always stand on the side of the people and Nigeria above anyone else, and I think I speak for all of us when I say that we need peace and stability in the country.

The office of president is a great responsibility, which requires humility, intelligence and courage to govern successfully. These are qualities I know you have. I also know that you understand better than anyone the seriousness of your role as president. After all, he has been preparing for this role since his days at NADECO in 1993 and the role he took on defending MKO Abiola’s candidacy for president during the June 12 protests.”

As Toyin’s open letter points out, all eyes are on President Tinubu as you assume your new role, in the hope that you will heed the advice and work diligently to avoid the mistakes made by your predecessors.
