It has taken over a year of production plagued by delays due to reports of minor injuries from on-set stunts and Covid-19.
Filming began around August 2020 after months of speculation about the recast of King T’Challa played by Chadwick Boseman, who had died the previous year of cancer.
While Marvel has yet to officially announce the new Black Panther, the sequel’s new trailer, released last month, confirmed that Wright will be wearing the superhero shoes.
Wakanda Forever opens worldwide on November 11.
