American rapper Busta Rhymes showers Wizkid with praise after his show in New York.

On Wednesday night, Wizkid, who had previously announced that it had sold out the 20,000-capacity venue, delivered a live performance of some of their hit songs. Most of the songs were from her recently released studio album, ‘More Love, Less Ego’.

Rhymes was seen congratulating the Nigerian singer in a now-viral video. He said:

“This is one of the first times I’m experiencing a venue this size packed in my city. Your vibe is a bit different, I’ve never experienced this. Amazing job. You have all the legendary status there is to achieve.”

“It’s time for you and me to go to the kitchen and cook something” he added, hinting at a collaboration with the Essence singer.

With this achievement, Wizkid joins a short list of artists to have sold out tickets at the renowned arena, including Michael Jackson, The Beatles, Adele, Rihanna, Jay-Z, Justin Bieber and Mariah Carey. In addition, it will continue Burna Boy in April as the second Nigerian artist to headline a concert at the venue.
