The Oklahoma State Department of Health District 1 Mobile Wellness offers public health services at locations throughout Northwest Oklahoma.
OSDH District 1 serves a 10-county region that includes Beaver, Cimarron, Custer, Dewey, Ellis, Harper, Texas, Roger Mills, Woods, and Woodward counties.
The mobile wellness unit “Mobile Health on the Go” is part of a statewide fleet mobilized earlier this year by OSDH to help reach underserved communities with vital services, including the COVID-19 vaccine.
Free services offered by the mobile wellness unit will include: sexually transmitted infection (STI) screenings, women’s screenings, immunizations, general sick visits, annual children’s visits, COVID-19 testing and immunizations, school physicals/ sports, flu tests and vaccines, blood pressure tests and other public health services.
The OSDH District 1 Mobile Wellness Unit will be at the following locations in October:
WOODS COUNTY
October 20 – 9:30 am – 3 pm, Zooks Country Market, 122 Main Street, Waynoka
BEAVER COUNTY
October 12 – 9:30 am – 3 pm, Balko Public Schools Football Field, 110 Bison Lane, Balko
Oct. 18 – 9:30 am-3 pm, Balko Public Schools Football Field, 110 Bison Lane, Balko
TEXAS COUNTY
October 10 – 9:30 am – 3 pm, City Hall, 104 S. Main Street, Goodwell
October 11 –9:30 am — 3 pm, Public Library, 6th and Beatrice, Tyrone
October 19 – 9:30 am –3 pm, Public Library, 6th and Beatrice, Tyrone
October 25 – 9:30 am – 3 pm, City Hall, 104 S. Main Street, Goodwell
CUSTER COUNTY
