Ester Expósito, an emerging star of Netflix’s Spanish teen drama Elitehas joined the cast of the beautiful islanda new dramatic comedy created by Elite Director Ginesta Guindal.
According to Variety, Expósito will play Roxy in the series, which revolves around a group of friends who live in a picturesque house in Ibiza, Spain. Roxy rents a room in the house in hopes of becoming “someone” on social media and attending the best parties on the island. She lives with the party animal Alfonso, the idealistic Peter and the environmentalist Sol.
Described as an “irreverent dramedy”, the series sees this group of friends forced to come up with an ingenious solution to keep their lives and home together after the landlord decides to triple the rent during the summer months.

Expósito is best known for her leading role as Carla Rosón Caleruega in the drama series Elite from 2018 to 2020. Last year, she briefly reprized her role as Carla in three storybook episodes. Her other credits include Netflix’s Spanish-Mexican thriller someone has to die and the next spanish horror movie Venus.
