Pennsylvania Steel Company, a supplier of steel products, purchased a 60,000-square-foot industrial building on 3.35 acres at 10 Ranick Road in Hauppauge for $11.3 million. The company, which offers a variety of steel, aluminum, carbon and alloy products, will be moving out of rented space in Bethpage. Richard Cohen of Ashlind Properties represented the buyer, while Rob Kuppersmith, Dan Abbondandolo and Joegy Raju of Cushman & Wakefield represented the seller, CrossTex International Inc., in the sale transaction.

Michels Corporation leased 11,000 square feet of industrial space at 347 Burman Blvd. in Calverton. The Wisconsin-based contracting company will install a cable pipeline to new offshore wind turbines to be built about 45 miles from Montauk Point. Sweetgreen, a fast-casual restaurant concept on the rise, leased 2,600 square feet of retail space at 191 Seventh St. in Garden City. The restaurant, the chain’s first on Long Island, opened this week.
