Jessie James Decker has been begging her husband Eric Decker to get a vasectomy.
The 34-year-old ‘Should’ve Known’ star has three children with the former NFL star, whom she married in 2013, and has confirmed they don’t plan on having any more babies, so she has asked her partner to go . under surgery, but she says he refuses because he fears the surgery will “take away his manhood”.
She told Us Weekly: “I keep asking him, ‘Go make that appointment,’ and he doesn’t. He just won’t. He says it takes away, like, his manhood. So he’ll just drop it, I guess.”
Eric previously admitted that he feels “nervous” about getting a vasectomy, and he worries that his plans may change in the future. He told the publication: “It’s taking a bit of power. That’s how I feel. I’m a little nervous about it, to be honest.”
“You don’t know where life will take you in the next five years… We have amazing kids, so I don’t want them to take too much love.”
Meanwhile, his wife has explained the secret to their long and happy marriage: attribute their happiness to good communication and regular date nights.
She said, “We really try to make it a point [and say], like, ‘Let’s have these moments where we lay here and talk about pillows… and we just make sure we give ourselves that time.’ is so important. Even early in the day we’ll be like, ‘Is tonight the night?’ We make sure to flirt [and] We get excited about each other.”
