MTN Nigeria Communications Plc, has launched a new initiative to empower young Nigerians with viable businesses through capacity building and grants.
The new initiative called MTN Pulse Blow My Hustle was announced in a press release in Lagos.
According to a 2021 report by the Fate Institute, 67% of Nigerian entrepreneurs are young people between the ages of 18 and 35. The report reveals that the Nigerian business sector is developing at a fast pace and identified scarce funding opportunities as a source of frustration for entrepreneurs. MTN Nigeria seeks to help fill this void through the MTN Pulse Blow My Hustle campaign.
Speaking at the press launch, MTN Nigeria Marketing Director Adia Sowho said: “The ‘rush spirit’ among young people in Nigeria is really inspiring as they are innovative and entrepreneurial. MTN is here to support that ‘hustle’ to make your dreams come true.
“Young entrepreneurs have told us what they need, and with MTN Pulse Blow My Hustle, we will share expert business skills in relevant fields and create access to financial grants. We look forward to the transformation that this initiative will drive.”
