On Tuesday 28 March, MultiChoice Nigeria announced the show and the return of the judges at a media launch at the company’s multi-use studio in Lagos. Asika acknowledged that the show relied on singing skills and is hopeful that this season, the audition will attract more talent that reflects the Nigerian music industry.
