As fans continue to miss The Kapil Sharma Show’s Krushna Abhishek, they were shocked when reports suggested that Sidharth Sagar has also left the comedy show. However, he denied the same in an exclusive conversation with indianexpress.com.
“Aisa kuch nahi hai (There is nothing like this). It’s all fake news,” Sidharth told us. When asked if he was filming for the show, the actor said, “I didn’t film the last few episodes. But the team se abhi baat huyi hai meri (I just spoke to the team).”
According to recent news reports, Sidharth Sagar was said to have parted ways with Kapil Sharma due to a money disagreement. The actor reportedly asked for a walk but was denied one, allowing him to take this step. When asked about his opinion on such reports, he calmly said, “I don’t have any reaction as I don’t even know what has been in the media. Mujhe nahi pata kya reports aayi hai, maine nahi dekha”.
As readers will know, Sidharth returned with The Kapil Sharma Show after facing a difficult time in his personal life, including substance abuse. The comedian left the public divided with his turn as popular Bollywood celebrities with the most popular being ‘Funveer Singh’.
A source close to the show also told us that while there was a discussion about the walk, it appears that the matter has now been resolved between the channel and the actor. Commenting on the absence of him, they said that there are several actors acting in The Kapil Sharma Show and therefore some are given a breather from time to time.
