Sylvester Stallone and his wife Jennifer Flavin are left with their dog, after reconciling.
The couple split earlier this year amid reports they had fought over Sylvester’s beloved Rottweiler Dwight, but they reconciled a month later in September and the couple filed a voluntary notice to dismiss the divorce proceedings in the county. of Palm Beach, Florida this month.
TMZ reports that “Not only does Dwight live with the family in Hidden Hills, but Jennifer now really likes the dog.”
It was previously reported that Jennifer, 54, did not want the dog, but Sylvester, 76, went ahead and got it anyway.
He then covered a tattoo of Jennifer on her arm with ink of the dog, causing a conflict between the couple.
Meanwhile, it is reported that the couple are now “together and very happy” after they were recently seen arm in arm with both wearing their wedding rings.
Page Six reported that the meeting came after they decided to “meet at home” so they could work out their differences.
Sylvester’s rep said in a statement at the time: “They decided to meet again at home, where they talked and were able to work out their differences. They are both extremely happy.”
Days before the announcement, a court filing filed in a Palm Beach, Florida, court revealed that the couple had agreed that “it is in the best interest of each of them individually, and more importantly, collectively as a family, to resolve all problems related to the extrajudicial dissolution of their marriage in a dignified, friendly and private manner”.
When Jennifer filed for divorce from Sylvester on August 19, she said he had “engaged in the intentional dissipation, depletion and/or waste of marital assets, which has had an adverse economic impact on the marital assets,” an accusation denied by Sylvester.
The couple, who married in May 1995, have two daughters: Sophia, 26, Sistine, 24, and Scarlet, 20.
Sylvester has a son named Seargeoh, 43, with his ex Sasha Czack, 72, whom he married in 1974 and divorced nine years later.
He also had a son named Sage with Sasha, but he died in 2012 of heart disease at age 36.
