The news was met with excitement as fans have been requesting for years for the album to be uploaded to streaming platforms.
Why did it take so long?: While Wande Coal or Don Jazzy, owner of the now-defunct Mo’hits record, haven’t been able to explain why the album isn’t available on streaming platforms, it’s likely due to resolution issues between the parties involved.
‘Mushin 2 Mo’hits’: Wande Coal’s debut album was released on April 12, 2009 under the Mo’hits label under which he launched his illustrious career.
The 16-track album delivered several hits, including the famous ‘Bumper 2 Bumper’, ‘You Bad’ feat. D’Banj, ‘Say na like that’, ‘Banana’ ‘Taboo’, ‘Olulufe’, Y ‘Ten Ten’.
The album is widely considered by critics to be Afrobeats’ best debut album and 13 years after its release, the album’s songs are still relevant.
‘Mushin 2 Mo’hits’ awarded Wande Coal 5 awards in 2010 headies awards. The album won Album of the Year, Song of the Year, R&B/Pop Album of the Year, Pop Single of the Year and Wande Coal won Artist of the Year in what was an unprecedented night.
